Here is the timeline with a little history regarding to the title above. Read it from the beginning and you will know what I’m trying to convey here. Don’t skip to the end because you might damage your own brain. I’m not responsible for any damages of your brain or physical body as stated here . Once upon a time :

I was getting in love with computer since I was young like I was in 14 years old with an old computer. Then;
I was getting in love with PC games and I was always playing games without thinking of my homeworks during my secondary school. Hitman Silent Assassin, Command and Conquer, Battle Realms, Counter Strikes, Serious Sam, Grand Theft Auto Vice City are examples of my favourite games during that time.
I did bad in my PMR examination because I love PC games –_-‘
When I was bored with the computer because I couldn’t play any new games. The reason was that the latest games need a good Graphic Card and Ram. I didn’t have money to buy it. Hence, my life was getting boring all the times.
Because I felt very bored with the computer, I was thinking a new Idea on what to do with the Computer instead of just playing games. I was thinking how to make Windows Applications like what I had seen on the monitor. I was thinking that I wanted to sell that application so I can be rich like ~~Bill Gates~~ –_-‘. I wanted to make the clickable buttons like in the Windows and I wanted to control them independently but I didn’t have any ideas how to make them.
I was doing some research over the Internet and I began learning Visual Basic (VB) programming language as the first programming language I have learned since I was 14 years old.
I was getting in love with VB for several yrs.

ARE YOU BORED WITH MY STORY? I HAVEN’T FINISH IT YET. REMEMBER MY TITLE IS: “Begin with programming, WHY I LOVE ISLAM and WHY I’M INTERESTING with the Object called ENERGY”. CONTINUE:

I was looking at some tutorials from the Internet how to make simple games on Windows platform by using VB. I went through google search about VB game and I found one website selling VB games. The guy who created the website is a Malay guy. His name is Affendi and he is older than me. I contacted the guy there and asked how did he make those games. I started to communicate with him and asked him about programming but unfortunately after about 1 year I lost contact with him because he didn’t active anymore with his VB project. The last thing he told me was: “practice a lots if you wanna be a programmer”. O_- .

I did research how to make game using VB6 over the Internet then I saw an interesting article about Random Number function in VB: (Rnd). They said Random Number is used especially in game AI. At the beginning, I didn’t know what was the Random number is all about. They provided me some examples and tutorial to follow up. I followed up the tutorials and did basic print function to generate those Random Numbers. I started to create one application after went through several tutorials over the Internet. For your information, VB is one of the Object Oriented Programming languages, but I didn’t know about OOP and never learn about it when I was dealing with VB at that time. I was always using the method of ‘if else’ statement. The statement is very easy to use. So, I used it a lots in my program! LOL!
I joined Putera.com, Lowyat.net, Bincang.net and others forum to learn about programming and other things.
I’ve created and uploaded my first application using VB when I was 16 years old in one forum aimed for members there to find some bugs in that program so I can increase my programming skill. The application name was “Permainan Congak Matematik Ahmad Arafat” (LOL!). It was a very basic mathematic game like 1 + 5 = ? , 5-4 = ?, 4 x 3 = ?. When user input a correct answer, 1 mark will be given else 1 mark will be deducted from the total mark. I was using the Random Numbers to generate the new value of the 2 operands.
I got one email from one member in that forum, he gave me some tips on how to make the program looks better. He found some errors from that application and he sent me screenshots of the errors. I remembered one error was at the dividend 0/0 which equal to UNDEFINED value but my application was terminated itself because it couldn’t handle that error. I fixed the program by putting ‘if else’ statement LOL! He also suggested me to put some animation in that application to make it looks more interactive.

When I was 17 years old, I continued playing around with the same basic math game. I was trying to change the application’s interface to make it look better by adding some pictures on it but I didn’t know how to make it animate. I remembered this picture: “a white bird standing and holding a Keris with its round eyes” and I renamed it as burungkeris.jpg. I don’t have the picture to show you from my computer now. It was in my old hard disk and the old hard disk was damaged. I will try to put it here if I found it from the Internet. I just put the picture in the basic math game but nothing animated. I was looking at the bird’s eyes and I was thinking to make its eyes blinking like ‘human being’. Of course it won’t be perfect as human being because no one can challenge the creation of ENERGY. Ops.. we will discuss about ENERGY later.

I’ve studied a little from the Internet how to make an animation using VB. I found an interesting method where I had to use my favorite’If else’ method again!! I have made 3 copies of the picture “burungkeris.jpg” by drawing at the bird’s eyes of each picture where burungpicture1.jpg is a white bird with eye fully opened, burungkeris2.jpg is a white bird with its eye half opened and the last one burungkeris3.jpg which its eye fully closed. All those birds in that picture were the same except the bird’s eyes.
I have successfully done the animation on the bird’s eyes by using ‘if else’ with the VB timer control for the picture to be animated.. Actually I already forgot some of the VB syntax but this is what I had and I still remember this important part to make the bird’s eyes blinking:

I did it but it was an incorrect method because there was a problem on how the eyes were blinking. It was looping and non-stopped for every second! I wanted to make it natural ‘like’ human being then I used the same method I was applying in the game by using 2 Random numbers generated once at one second with help from the internet, and finally I did the same code again and check the random number one by one of that 2 numbers by using my favorite ‘if else’ method:

‘ The numbers generated randomly and only the result of 1 is taken to make the bird’s eyes blinking. The next random number can be result of 1 as well so the eyes were blinking again in that case. But there must be value of 2 at one time where the bird’s eyes is set to fully open (not blinking). Finally it was blinking like my eyes blinking.

Finally I did it! I was very happy because the bird’s eyes were blinking randomly as what I wanted but
I did bad in my SPM Examination because I was addicted with Computer games and Programming. –_-‘

ARE YOU BORED?? Ok here is what I’m going to tell you regarding to my post’s title and the timeline I discovered and I started to do research about ENERGY in our daily life:

After I’ve successfully created the random eyes blinking of that bird, I have problem where I wanted to know how the computer produce that random number each second. How does the computer know what is the next value to be generated?? I was very impress how those numbers generate randomly in computer not the blinking bird’s eyes and if you have a scientific calculator like Casio FX 570, u will notice that the scientific calculator have the same function ‘Rnd’ to generate random number. Do you know how does it work? Well, if you are Engineer, you might know the concept how it generated but not every programmer with the lack of hardware knowledge know about it. I’m not going to discuss about the hardware bla2.. So, because I wanted to know how the Random number generated from a CPU, I did research over the Internet and this is what I have found during my research:

There are 2 ways how the computer generate Random number:

1) Use algorithm of mathematical formula which can be predicted.
2) Use an unpredictable physical means to generate numbers (like atmospheric noise). This cannot be predicted by human being.

From no 1), the number generated by your computer using Mathematical formula. So the output is not the True Random Number because you can predict it if you know how the formula of the algorithm work. In another word, u can guest the next number. Most computer use this method! So, that was the trick. But… how about no 2)? Does it make me impress? YES! I was very impress at the way how computer generate Random number explained in no 2) above. I did research about it and I found this video below. Take a look at this short video how does it work. Done watching it? The video has mentioned about atom which generate the Random number by producing a sequence binary numbers. This means, the Random number generated from your computer depends on the movement of that atom. Interesting is it? Do every programmer know about this? Do you know does the atom move? In the above video it explained that, the atom move because of the electromagnetic waves (microwaves) react on the atom. When it deal with a movement of an object done by something, does it really need some ENERGY to move it? AND HOW THOSE ENERGY reacted on the atom RANDOMLY????

So, here is the big question, Where did that ENERGY coming from?? Who created that ENERGY that cause the atom to move? It’s about ENERGY and until now no one ever explain to us properly where does the ENERGY come from including some of the “famous” scientists, like Stephen Hawking. He has provided his theory that this universe created itself when the big bang occurred but he didn’t mention where did the ENERGY that cause the big bang occur coming from? Was there a problem with his Micro$oft Sam voice’s machine? He also said that “THIS UNIVERSE CREATED FROM NOTHING” using his favorite Micro$oft Sam Voice (TM). Do you think this universe created itself without someone created it? Then u need to read more…

When you study physic, example during your secondary school, you might already know from the theory of ENERGY; it is ‘something’ (UNKNOWN) that cannot be created and transferred from one place to another place. Of course you can produce an energy by slapping my face several times but did u ever think and ask yourself where did u get that energy?From the foods? So how did the foods give you ENERGY? From the Sun, water and bla2 until u get back to the smallest form of ENERGY where u cannot see it with your own eyes!.. Did you get what I mean? If not you still have a chance to understand it from the video below. The very big question is, where did the ENERGY coming from? Who created it? Can we as a human being read the flow of ENERGY and manipulate it? Then finally after done some research, I found this video and it has answered some of those questions:

So… did u understand the concept?. No? Ok I give you another examples.. think about: how you walk, how you think, how you read, how your run, how you eat, raining, earthquake, planet orbiting and everything in this world are dealing with ENERGY!!! I have watch all the parts from episode 1 to 50. It is about the Freemason () and also about those people who are manipulating the ENERGY. It is about the returning of Imam Mahdi A.S and Jesus (PBOH) the son of Mary, The system of Dajjal, The Anti-Christ (or Dajjal in Islam) or Anti-Nabi Isa in Malay / Anti-Jesus (PBOH). This part has answered some of my questions but I still need to know something else before I die. Yes, Allah S.W.T is the only one who create that ENERGY. All living and non-living thing in this universe consist of energy and we are moving with that energy. Wallahualam..

One of my big agenda in this world is to understand the beautiful objects created by ALLAH S.W.T where human being call it as ‘ENERGY’. After doing some research, I was pointed to a website called wakeupproject.com. Do you know that every living and non living things in this world are made up from ENERGY? Do you know where does the ENERGY come from? Do you know that scientists including Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking cannot define properly where does the energy come from until now? Selesai Ujian Nationality

Masa tadi aku dengan abang aku tunggu untuk dipanggil amik ujian bertulis Bahasa Melayu ikut giliran nombor. Lepas diorang panggil masuk dewan, exam start. Masa dia bagi ialah 30 minit. Time tu aku tersenyum kambing sebabnya aku kena buat karangan bahasa Melayu macam SPM dulu2. Tajuk dia pasal bendera malaysia. Hahaha. Dia suruh huraikan maksud color, lambang jalur2 dan tanda2 apa2 yg terdapat pada bendera. Nasib baik aku ingat lagi! Kalau x memang tak bergerak la dalam bilik exam tu. Hehe. Abang aku pulak tajuk dia Tentang Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita dan huraikan (hohoho). Dia tu aku rasa sure beratus2 ayat dia goreng. Biasala orang yg suka berceramah. Setiap kali jumpa dia mesti kena ceramah (wajib) =_=. Tak semua orang tau tulis dalam dewan tu. Ada yg tak tau cakap Melayu langsung. Then, lepas habis sesi ujian bertulis, tunggu pulak giliran untuk ditemu duga. Time tu memang cuak sikit tapi masih stedi lagi yo hehe. Ujian bertulis tadi tu just fasa pertama untuk dinilai tahap bahasa melayu dan pengetahuan tentang Malaysia. Ada banyak lagi fasa and kalau nak tau lulus ke tak kena tunggu 2 tahun lagi (=_=’). Masa temuduga tadi ialah fasa kedua. Lepas giliran nombor aku dipanggil aku disuruh duduk di kerusi jauh lebih kurang 1 meter daripada 2 orang penilai masing2 lelaki dan perempuan. Masa mula2 skali dia comment kat karangan aku buat tadi ada banyak aku potong guna pen:

Arafat: Ye saya.

Penilai Perempuan: Saya lihat encik Ahmad Arafat punya karangan banyak sangat potong sana sini kenapa? Macam nak sampaikan sesuatu ke?

~~Arafat: Ye saya nak sampaikan perasaan sayang saya kat miss. Miss sgt cantik. dah kawin ke belum :”>?~~

Arafat: Sebenarnya tadi saya ada idea baru sebab tu sy padam idea lama. Lepas tulis idea lama saya teragak-agak sebab idea saya tu bole tulis ke tak. Disebabkan masa tak cukup, saya potong balik idea baru tu dan tulis balik idea lama.

Lepas temuduga selesai, abang aku pun balik rumah dia kat Kajang and aku balik Cyberjaya. Keputusan pass fail akan diketahui selepas 2 tahun. Lepas 2 tahun tu kena lulus lagi satu sesi ujian bertulis dan temuduga baru diberitahu keputusannya.. Kalau fail still boleh mohon lagi tapi kena tunggu 2 tahun . Aku harap lulus.. insyaALLAH..

HelloX is not compatible with N82 with the latest firmware v35.0.002

I’ve noticed that HelloX 1.03 cannot be used on N82 phone for hacking purpose. After hack my phone, some applications like Garmin Mobile XT, music player and other applications always crash and sometimes my phone also restart itself. Of course I never leave EnableCaps on all the time. I don’t know if HelloX works with other phones but I don’t recommend N82′s authors hack their phone using HelloX. Maybe you can try another method: If you want to install unsigned application on your phone use SignSis application instead. You need to have your own Symbian Developer Certificate to sign your application.

Kehidupan di Cyberjaya

Just nak buat log kerana dah lama tak buat hehe. Dah sebulan lebih aku pindah dari Hostel MMU ke Apartment Cyberia. Overall housemate aku kat sini semunya ok. Mereka semua student Lim Kok Wing dan pelajar International iaitu, 3 dari Yemen dan seorang dari Sudan. Semalam sungguh excited sekali aku berbual2 dengan sepupu Zackariya dan Ahmed housemate aku dari Yemen. Diaorang ajar aku bahasa arab aku ajar diorang bahasa Melayu hehe. Kat bandar Cyberjaya ni dikenali sebagai Sillicon Valley of Malaysia iaitu banyak company yg menjalankan business high-tech di sini. Susana di Cyberjaya ni overall aku boleh katakan ok tapi kalau dibandingkan dengan tempat belajar di MMU Melaka dulu, aku rasa di Melaka lebih baik dari Cyberjaya dari segi environment. Kat sini kalau nak pegi shopping, movie etc. biasanya kat Putrajaya, Alamanda paling dekat. Nak repair motosikal or kereta paling dekat dalam 4.5 KM di Dengkil (Kiraan Garmin Mobile GPS). So kalau motosikal pancit kat Cyberjaya sediakanlah duit berpuluh ringgit untuk technician datang dari jauh repair ke Cyberjaya ( experienced -_-’ ). Jika bekerja atau belajar di Cyberjaya kenderaan itu memang convenience terutamanya kalau nak pergi jalan2 ke tempat2 lain atau membeli belah ke. Boleh naik bas atau teksi kat sini ada banyak teksi menunggu beberapa meter tempat aku tinggal ni. Hurm, teksi? Aku pernah kena charge sebanyak RM 29 ringgit oleh seorang abang teksi yg ambil kesempatan. masa tu aku kehabisan minyak moto di lebuh raya putrajaya semasa nak balik ke apartment dari Dengkil sebab lupa isi minyak dan terlupa bawak dompet untuk isi minyak! =_=’. Masa tu aku tahan teksi, then dia hantar aku ke station minyak isi dalam botol. Masa aku kat station minyak, sebelum keluar isi minyak, aku tengok meter teksi harga dia RM 18 O_o. Dia suruh aku tunggu dia kat tempat pam angin yg tak sampai 10 meter pon. Lepas isi minyak aku naik teksi tu balik tiba2 sungguh wtf sekali meter tu harga dia jadi RM 20.50!. Aku agak dia main pusing2 macam orang bodoh kat belakang station minyak . Then dia bawak aku ke apartment amik dompet dan akhir sekali ketempat motosikal aku berenti.. Aku malas nak marah dia sebab dia dok cakap baik2 dengan aku siap bagi nasihat kat aku suruh belajar rajin2..haha pandai dia psycho..

Apa2 pun Semester 1 aku dah nak habis. Minggu depan memang sangat busy sebab ada exam midterm lepas tu terus Final dalam beberapa minggu then MERDEKA! (maybe). Pada masa yang sama jugak laman web company dengan sorang customer sorang tu x siapkan lagi nak hampir due date. haha.. im dead!. InsyaALLAH aku akan bahagikan masa aku dengan terbaik supaya semuanya berjalan dengan lancar. Amin..

Assignment, Working, Exam

Hi, long time I haven’t post anything hehe~ Just to do a log here, the website I’m working on, TELC has not completed yet because I was waiting for the contents from them. Yesterday, I had meeting with them in Melaka and they already give me the contents to be put in the website. I need to change the website’s layout and finish it due date by this month. At the same time, I also have assignments and exam this month! my faith LOL!

Yesterday I also got a new invitation letter from Al-Ameen Serve Holdings Sdn Bhd. They sent me an invitation letter to my house. They invited me as VIP to PWTC, KL for the launch of the first Cham-Malay dictionary in Malaysia. I hope to be there as I have many questions to ask them regarding to the language. The dictionary maker, Abdul Majid Bin Haji Yunos is a Cham Historian, was born in An-Giang, Champa (nowadays called south Vietnam because it was controlled by Vietnamese). You guys also are invited to be there! :

I’m busy this week so nothing new to post. Now I’m staying in Hostel MMU Cyberjaya continue degree here. This 18 Jan 2010 my first class will begin. Alhamdulillah, I got a new task; This week I have to design website for a small company (TELC ). I hope all smooth. InsyaALLAH. I will keep post more useful information after done my work Or I will do it simultaneously:-). Keep reading because sharing information is Better!

XEROX WORKCENTRE 3119 REVIEW

Hari ni Skynet datang bawa barang yang aku order from my ex-classmate. Dia bekerja dengan Computer Concept & System Sdn Bhd dari Penang. Skynet hantar mono laser printer XeroX 3119 yang mempunyai 3 function (Copy, Scan, Print). Printer ni mempunyai cartridge toner yang mampu mencetak sebanyak 3000 pages (wow!). Oleh kerana printer ini ialah monolaser, bermaksud tiada color hanya black je. hehe.. Untuk photocopy pulak mengambil kira2 masa sepuluh saat sahaja depends dekat area photo yang kita nak scan tapi maximum memang 10 saat. Overall printer ni memang bagus. Terima kasih kepada Hilmi kerana recommendkan printer ni.

Dah selesai memasang printer, seterusnya untuk menguji dan mengesahkan printer ini berkuasa dan berkualiti untuk scan, seekor semut telah dimasukkan ke dalam LSU ( Laser Scanning Unit) dan dicetak. (click pada image untuk perbesarkan)

Memang clear and semut yang menjadi mangsa kat atas telah dijaga dengan baik tanpa kecederaan yang serious dan ianya masih bernafas menjalankan kehidupan routinenya.. Hehehe..
