Last saturday, I gave a speech about Cocos2d for iPhone at MMU Melaka with my office mate Loh Sze Yuen on barCamp Melaka 2009. We were represented from Art In Software Sdn Bhd (AIST) gave a talk, tutorial and demo on how to use Cocos2d framework with X-Code to create 2D games on iPhone/iPod. There were 200 participants registered at that day and our topic was a little HOT :D . Someone asked me to share the slide presentation but I forgot to give him. So here I attached the previous slide, everyone can download the slide here. Ahh forgot to mention, the blue shirt in the photo above is my kind Boss hehehehe.

What is BarCamp and BarCamp-Melaka ?

BarCamp Melaka is a new events ever organized by The Malaysia Information Technology & Open Source Carnival (MITOSC). This is the very first time that BarCamp going to held at Melaka, Malaysia. Basically, BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event. Generally, BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences (open, participatory workshop-events), whose content is provided by participants.
